Web based data Transfer through GSM/GPRS technology
DSL-340 is an optical, double-pass dust/opacity monitor designed to measure dust, smoke, and particulate matter concentration in exhaust gas streams from ducts, stacks or flues in industrial settings. It provides real-time digital readings that help industries monitor emissions for air quality compliance and process control.
-
Measurement Principle: Innovative Dynamic Detection Principle (DDP) — based on detecting fluctuations in light intensity caused by particles passing through a light beam between a Transceiver (TRX) and Reflector.
-
Optical Sensing: Continuous in-situ optical monitoring directly in the exhaust gas path with no sample extraction
-
Output Units: Reports particulate concentration as mg/m³ (when calibrated against reference measurements).
-
Dynamic Detection Principle (DDP): Reduces drift and is less affected by changes in light source intensity compared with conventional opacity monitors.
-
Rugged Construction: Durable 316 stainless steel body designed for harsh industrial environments.
-
Calibration: Built-in electronic calibration check facility for accuracy assurance.
-
Interfaces: Flexible interfaces — 4–20 mA analogue, Modbus RTU (RS485), USB communication, and optional operator interface.
-
Free Utility Software: For PC-based setup, configuration, and data logging.
-
Low Maintenance: No moving parts and rugged design for reliable continuous operation.
Typical Applications
DSL-340 is widely used for continuous emission monitoring in industrial processes such as:
-
Boilers, furnaces & kilns in cement and steel plants
-
Air filtration systems, ESP outlets and bag houses
-
Power plants and waste-to-energy facilities
-
Incinerators, industrial stacks, and other high particulate environments
Why It’s Used
This monitor provides continuous, real-time dust/opacity readings to help facilities:
-
Meet regulatory air emission standards
-
Control pollution and improve environmental compliance
-
Optimize combustion and filtration processes
